Our unique travel agents´ exchange programme!
You always dreamed to work for a while in a foreign country? We make that real! Our travel agents' exchange programme will enable our members to change their workplace for a mutual agreed pre-defined time and to work in a travel agency abroad. We suggest from two to four weeks in order to maintain your local employment. Members can list themselves in our forum as a „receiving office“ or as the person who is interested in going abroad. It is also possible to participate on both sides.
With this programme counter energy is offering a true platform to travel agents to gain some working
experience in other markets and to learn about other cultures. Things which are certainly a must in a travel agent's career!
Addressed to the owners and managers: This is a real incentive for your valuable staff! You could also use the opportunity having a specialist from a foreign country in your agency, to set-up a sales promotion for that destination directed to your customers. The programme is due to start in summer 2010 with the first exchange. Of course we shall assist in any administrative issues which might occur during the preparation and back up the participants in the field. Registrations are already accepted and you should enrol yourself as early as possible.

Counter energy joins the UNWTO "Protect Children from Exploitation in Travel and Tourism" campaign being part of the UNWTO Global Code of Ethics for Tourism.
As we are starting to promote both within our community and beyond, we shall also form a members' workgroup to discuss and identify appropriate tools and
communication aids, so that travel agents could adopt efficiently the Protect Children campaign and are also informed about the Global Code of Ethics for Tourism.
